{"id":4712,"date":"2023-02-22T11:53:52","date_gmt":"2023-02-22T17:53:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofallonfire.org\/?page_id=4712"},"modified":"2023-05-23T08:22:14","modified_gmt":"2023-05-23T13:22:14","slug":"pr-event-request-information","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ofallonfire.org\/pr-event-request-information\/","title":{"rendered":"PR Event Request Information"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\t<p>Thank you for considering the O&#8217;Fallon Fire Protection District for participation in your upcoming event!\u00a0 We have listed below several items you should expect whether you are visiting with us at a neighborhood fire station or we are joining your event at a different location.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fire Station Visits<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ofallonfire.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/e-9418-600x400.jpg\" alt=\"Kids checking out the fire truck\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/>Have a typical duration of 30-45 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Includes a tour of living\/ office space and apparatus bays where fire trucks are housed.<\/li>\n<li>We will provide an age-appropriate, fire safety message during all fire station visits.<\/li>\n<li>Emergencies are unpredictable and O&#8217;Fallon Fire crews must be available to handle emergency calls at all times. If your hosting crew receives an emergency call during your visit, we may have to end your tour and ask that you exit the facility.<\/li>\n<li>Due to the unpredictable nature of emergency incidents and our need to remain available for responses, we are unable to host birthday celebrations, meetings or serve food items.<\/li>\n<li>Fire stations are very large and busy places and house large vehicles and lots of equipment. In order to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time, we ask for all children&#8217;s groups to have an appropriate number of chaperones with the group(s) at all times.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Fire Truck and Crew Attending Your Event<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Depending on your event, our schedules can typically accommodate between 30 and 60 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Includes a fire crew with a truck tour and age-appropriate fire safety information (discussion and handouts where possible).<\/li>\n<li>Due to the large number of requests we receive, fire crew and truck visits are available for events which have a safety theme.
